Describe the two legends of the founding of Rome. Then explain how and why Rome was actually founded. Remember to include at least one image!
Rome was founded by Remus and Romulus. They were raised by wolf and then they were raised by a shepherd. After being raised Remus and Romulus wanted to build a city, this happened at 753 B.C. After they decided to build it, Remus and Romulus fought on were the city would be, so to decide Romulus killed Remus. That's only one of the legends how Rome was built, but the other one is about a Trojan hero Aeneas. Legend says, that he and his band of travelers have crossed the Mediterranean Sea after the Greeks captured Troy. He ended up on the Tiber River after he married the local kings daughter. Thus he united both Trojans and the Latins, and then became the "father" of Rome.
